About Iron Pine
Iron and pine.
Two things this part of New York is built from: the strength of the infrastructure that holds everything up, and the forests that have defined the country north of here for as long as anyone has lived in it.
Why we started this
Iron Pine Electric was founded by electricians with more than 20 years of combined experience in the field — enough time on enough jobsites to know exactly where this trade gets sloppy. Bids that take three weeks. Subs who disappear between rough-in and trim. Change orders that show up as invoices instead of conversations. Panels wired to pass, not to be proud of.
None of that is hard to fix. It just requires deciding that the operational side of the business — answering the phone, hitting the bid date, showing up the day you said — matters as much as the craftsmanship. That decision is the whole company.
What we build
Our core work is residential new construction: custom homes, spec builds, and developments across Saratoga County and the Capital Region, working directly with the builders and developers putting them up. Around that we run service and renovation work for homeowners, and commercial electrical for the businesses and buildings in the same footprint.
North of us, the Adirondacks and the North Country bring their own kind of work — camps, lake properties, backup power, and buildings that have to hold up to real winters. We serve that territory too, and it is a genuine specialty rather than an afterthought.
The name
Iron for the structural side of what we do: infrastructure, precision, systems that hold. Pine for where we do it. The mark is a pine built out of structural beams, with one member in copper — the conductor running through the middle of everything.
Leadership
Blake Roy
Founder & CEO
Blake leads Iron Pine Electric — setting the standard the crews work to, the way the company deals with builders and homeowners, and the plan for growing it across Upstate New York.
What we hold ourselves to.
Do it to code. Then do it right.
Code is the floor, not the finish line. Straight runs, labeled panels, torque-checked terminations — work that reads well to the next electrician who opens it.
Show up when we said.
A schedule is a promise. Builders can build around us, and homeowners can plan their week around us.
Say it early.
Problems get raised the week they are cheap to solve, not discovered at closeout. Straight answers, even the inconvenient ones.
Let's talk about your project.
