Commercial Lighting & LED Retrofits.
Commercial lighting is a controllable cost hiding in plain sight. LED retrofits routinely cut lighting energy 50–70% while making the space look better — and we quote them with the payback math on page one, because that’s the number that matters.
Retrofits with the math shown
We audit what you’re running, meter the load, and quote the retrofit with current utility incentives applied and the payback period stated plainly — typically two to four years, faster where lights burn long hours. Then we install with minimal disruption: aisle by aisle, after hours where it matters.
Site, egress, and controls
Parking-lot heads, building-mounted floods, and pole repairs — with bucket-truck access handled. Emergency and exit lighting tested and documented for the fire marshal. Occupancy and scheduling controls that stop lighting empty rooms, which is where the second layer of savings lives.
The audit: where every retrofit starts
We meter your actual lighting load, inventory and classify every fixture, log the burn hours by zone, and model the retrofit against your real rates — so the payback number you see is engineering, not brochure. The audit also maps the incentive landscape for your specific utility, which in this patchwork region (municipal departments, NYSEG, National Grid) varies more than owners expect.
The deliverable is a decision document: costs, savings, payback by zone, and a phasing plan that lets you start with the 24-hour spaces where the math is fastest. If your number isn't compelling, the audit says so — that honesty is why the proposals that do go forward get approved.
Installation without disruption
Retail floors, dining rooms, and guest corridors can't close for lighting, so we don't ask them to. Work phases aisle by aisle and floor by floor, after-hours where the space demands it, with each zone finished and clean before the next opens. Emergency and exit lighting gets brought current in the same pass, with the test documentation your fire marshal asks for at inspection.
Exterior and site lighting round out the scope — parking lot heads, pole repairs, building floods, and signage — with bucket-truck access handled and LED conversions quoted honestly against repair-again economics.
